1. (SBU) Econoff delivered the non-papers contained in
reftels to Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA)
Non-proliferation, Science and Nuclear Energy Division
official Ms. Kaori Mita on August 27. Mita, the Division's
officer responsible for Australia Group matters, said she
would disseminate the non-papers to the relevant experts for
their review. She had no immediate comments on the content
of the documents, but agreed to share any feedback she
received from the experts' review.
