SUBJECT: CENTRAL BANK OF NIGERIA SEEKS UPDATE ON UNITED NATIONS
RESOLUTIONS 1526 AND 1822

1. (U) This is an action request; please see paragraph 2.

2. (SBU) Action request: Post requests updated information for
Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on the consolidated list of
individuals and organizations linked to Al-Qaida. The CBN earlier
released a circular advising Nigerian financial institutions on this
matter. Post is requesting an update of the consolidated list for
CBN to disseminate in new circulars.

3. (SBU) Post requests verification of the following names and
organizations listed below for completeness and accuracy, including
the dates of publication and remarks. Post will communicate results
to the CBN.
