(SBU) Department concurs with demarche along the lines
proposed in Reftel B to be delivered to appropriate GOL
officials (including the Prime Minister) regarding Latvia,s
2010 budget. Specific language should reflect ongoing
efforts by the GOL to adopt a budget that complies with its
international obligations and incorporates ref C text on
Latvian technical assistance. Department appreciates a
report of the GOL,s response.
