1. On November 3, 2009 post delivered the letter from
Secretary Clinton and reftel details concerning the need to
partner for global hunger and food security to Ambassador
Idrissa Bayo, Director of American Affairs at the Cote
d,Ivoire Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Ambassador Bayo was
very interested in the global food security initiative but
could not have any immediate response from his government.
2. Ambassador Nesbitt also shared information about the
Global Hunger and Food Security initiative with Minister of
Agriculture, Amadou Gon Coulibaly when she met him on October
26.
