1. (U) DCM and PolCouns delivered reftel demarche to MFA
DirGen for Bilateral Affairs Gheorghe Magheru (supervising
all regions but North America and Europe) and MFA DirGen for
Strategic Affairs Calin Stoica (supervising North America),
during a previously planned meeting to discuss EU-North Korea
relations. Neither official was familiar with the upcoming
COASI working group meeting, but they undertook to pass the
non-paper to their appropriate subordinates for action.
