(SBU) On November 23, ESToff discussed with MFA/DVBR Senior
Counselor Aleksey Karpov U.S. efforts to enlist other IAEA
Board members to join the United States in co-sponsoring the
Russian resolution on the Angarsk LEU fuel reserve (reftel)
at the next IAEA Board of Governors meeting. Karpov
expressed Russia's appreciation for U.S. cooperation and
support of this important Russian initiative.
