1. (SBU) On November 25, Polmiloff passed to GOI officials
reftel points regarding Washington support for the GOI's
proposal to host a Global Initiative to Combat Nuclear
Terrorism (GICNT) workshop in Jerusalem, June 7-8, 2010. On
November 27, Israel Atomic Energy Commission (IAEC) Senior
Director for CTBT Affairs and Special Projects Itshak
Lederman told polmiloff the GOI would begin planning in
earnest for the workshop. He noted, however, that the GOI
also has requested confirmation through the Russian Embassy
that co-chair Moscow has approved the workshop.
