(SBU) EconOff delivered reftel demarche and diplomatic note to the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) North America Director Adriana
Maldonado, with a copy to the Director of Environment, Economics
and Social Affairs Yadir Salazar, on November 17. The MFA noted
that the U.S. request is currently under consideration by Vice
Minister Adriana Mejia and expects to offer us an official response
by next week. Post will report any substantive response via
septel.
