Charge previewed President's address on Afghanistan December
1 evening with Dr. Khalid Al-Jindan, Foreign Affairs Deputy
Minister for Bilateral Relations. Al-Jindan welcomed
increased U.S. efforts as a necessary step forward for
stabilization in Afghanistan. He requested a copy of the
speech, subsequently sent, to brief Foreign Minister Prince
Saud Al-Faisal, currently in the U.S.
