1. (U) This is an action request for human rights verification
required by the Leahy Amendment; see Para. 2.

2. (U) JUSMAG Bangkok has requested that the Embassy/State
Department complete human rights vetting request for the 3
individuals listed below, who have been selected to attend the
below-mentioned courses. Embassy Bangkok possesses no credible
information at this time of gross violations of human rights by
these persons. Embassy Bangkok Political Officer, Gillian R. Apfel,
is the verifying officer for the Embassy/Department of State.

-- Oral Proficiency Skills/Aviation, DLACDLI, Lackland Air Force
Base, Texas, February 08 - July 30, 2010;
-- Refresher Survival Training Aircraft, PASM, Nomi Aviation
Survival Training Miramar, San Diego, CA, August 02-03, 2010;

-- MH-60S FRP Pilot CAT V,PHCT, August 04 - October 15, 2010 and
MH-60S Pilot Instructor U, PHCT, Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron
Three, San Diego, CA, October 18 - November 01, 2010. JUSMAG is the
funding agency.
