3. (SBU) The Chevron convoy that departed Santo Domingo at
0430 arrived safely in Port-au-Prince at 1230. The convoy is
on its way back to Santo Domingo. The operation was a success,
slowed only by the vehicular congestion on the roads to Port-
au-Prince. There were no security incidents reported en route

9. (U) Ottawa will expedite immigration applications from
Haitians with family in Canada and give immigration priority
to Haitians affected by the earthquake. Haitians currently in
Canada temporarily will be allowed to extend their stay. (AP)

10. (U) Senegalese President Wade has offered "voluntary
repatriation" and land to any interested Haitians. (AP)
