coverage to the resignation of Finance Minister Fujii,
adding that Deputy Prime Minister Kan has been chosen
to take over Fujii's portfolio.

2. "President Obama Enraged at Failure of Intelligence
Community" On President Obama's press conference on
Tuesday, during which he expressed strong criticism of
the U.S. intelligence community's apparent failure to
understand and integrate information related the
aborted bombing attempt of a Delta Airlines airplane,
the conservative Sankei stated: (1/7): "Given that
various investigative reports on the 9/11 terrorist
attack pointed out poor coordination among U.S.
intelligence organizations, the fact that their
intelligence collection and analysis capabilities have
been found to be problematic again could deal a fatal
blow to the Obama administration ahead of the mid-term
election in autumn."

U.S. intelligence agencies is the source of poor
coordination within the intelligence community,
