1. This is an action request.

2. Pursuant to the Leahy Act and Foreign Assistance Act, Post
requests the Department's assistance in screening the following
candidate from the Iraqi Ministry of Defense (MOD) who has been
nominated to attend the Basic American Language Instructor Course
during the period 17 May through
10 November 2010; training location - Defense Language Institute,
Lackland AFB, TX, USA.

3. The name of the proposed candidate is follows:
