1. (SBU) On February 12, PolOff conveyed to MFA International
Organizations and Conferences Department UN Affairs Division
Attache Jiang Bo reftel points seeking information on
possible PRC contributions in support of MINUSTAH. Jiang
confirmed that the PRC was considering providing assistance
but had not yet finalized what form this would take. He
added that whatever decision was made would be conveyed to
UNDKPO/OMA in New York.
