1. (U) Post requests the Department's assistance in screening the
following two candidates, of the Defense Attach????'s Office at the
Brazilian Embassy in Washington, DC, who have been nominated to
participate in the Sovereign Challenge at Special Operations
Program, from March 15-19, 2010, in Tampa, FL, pursuant to the
Leahy Act and Foreign Assistance Act.

derogatory information of gross human rights violations by the
