(SBU) On Monday 22 POLOFF delivered REF demarche to Daniel
Ionita, Director of the MFA NATO department. Ionita welcomed
the call for additional trainers and noted that Romania has
recently pledged 600 additional combat troops as well as one
additional OMLT. He said that the MOD is currently
discussing the make-up and requirements of these additional
contributions and undertook to provide the results of these
discussions to the Embassy.
