SUBJECT: VISAS VIPER FOR JANUARY 2010 REPORTING PERIOD

1. Members of the Embassy Rabat and Consulate General Casablanca
joint Visas Viper Committee met February 1, 2010. The meeting was
chaired by DCM with CG, CONS, RAO, LEGATT, DHS, DAO, RSO, POL, ECON,
and PD in attendance. Discussion centered on implementation of new
requirements in the Visas Viper program in the light of the
terrorist attempt on Christmas 2009.

2. Casablanca has the following submission for the January 2010
reporting period:

OUDRISS, Jamal, born 24 July 1987 in Oujda, Morocco, PPT T78443.
Father's name Ahmed Oudriss, mother's name Maghnia. Oudriss
departed February 5, 2006 for Syria and is suspected of travelling
to support fighting against coalition forces in Iraq. More
information has been reported septel.

Local check of Consolidated Consular Database indicates no record.
Recipients are requested to recheck CCD to verify.

3. The Mission's Visas Viper Coordinator is Consular Chief Miguel
Ordonez.
