1. (SBU) Pol/Econ Chief delivered reftel points to MFA/MOD desk
officer Florence Ensch, February 12. Ensch said the GOL would not
be participating in the UN Peacekeeping Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH)
but was considering participating in additional relief operations
as part of a future EU contingent. She volunteered that on February
23-24 their would be a minister's conference, probably in Spain,
where GOL participation would be discussed.
