SUBJECT: NICARAGUA: HUMAN RIGHTS INDIVIDUAL VETTING REQUEST FOR U.S. - SPONSORED TRAINING: MILGP, PERSPECTIVES ON HOMELAND SECURITY AND DEFENSE COURSE
1. We request the Department's assistance in screening the
following individuals who have been nominated for USG-funded
training, pursuant to the Leahy Act and the Foreign Assistance Act.
2. The following individuals will attend the Perspectives on
Homeland Security and Defense Course in Washington, D.C., from
March 4 - 24, 2010. The names are listed with the surname first,
followed by rank and DOB:

3. As the U.S. Embassy Managua Leahy vetting coordinating office,

4. In order to prepare for the participants' travel, we appreciate
the Department's response by February 26th, 2010.
