During a January 28 meeting with Department of International
Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) Deputy Director for Nuclear
Disarmament and Nonproliferation Johann Kellerman, Deputy
Political Counselor presented and discussed reftel point and
questions and answers distinguishing the upcoming Nuclear
Security Summit from the NPT RevCon in May. Kellerman went
through the material provided with great interest and
commented that such clarification was very much needed and
very welcome. Kellerman suggested that it might be a helpful
to provide the same guidance to capitals of nations not
invited to the Nuclear Security Summit.
