1. (SBU) Following consultations with government officials,
NGOs, and members of the National Assembly, Post has no
reason to believe that any specific goods in South Korea are
produced by forced labor in violation of international
standards. For more information on populations vulnerable to
labor trafficking in South Korea, please refer to Post's
forthcoming submission to the annual Trafficking in Persons
report.
2. (SBU) Korea is a signatory to the following ILO
conventions:

Work, including four of the eight core conventions in the
Declaration: Equal Remuneration Convention; Discrimination
(employment and occupation) Convention; Minimum Age
Convention; and Worst Forms of Child Labor Convention;
--other ILO conventions including the following: Labor
