1) East Timor investigators to be named shortly û Indonesia 22/03/00 (Jakarta Post) JAKARTA - A team tasked to investigate last year's violence in East Timor will be established by next week, focusing on five of the most notorious incidents, Attorney General Marzuki Darusman said on Tuesday.

8) UN Strengthens Security Along Timor Border 21/03/00 (Sydney Morning Herald) United Nations security along East Timor's 172-kilometre-long border with Indonesia has been drastically strengthened after a series of incursions by pro-Jakarta militia.

9) IOM/UNHCR: Timor Activity Update: 21 Mar 2000 22/03/00 (IOM/UNHCR) There is a continuing need to return displaced people in West Timor to their communities of origin in East Timor, in order for rehabilitation, reconstruction and development to begin. The safe and orderly return transportation of displaced people is the responsibility of IOM by agreement and in close co-operation with UNHCR.
