UNITED STATES PACIFIC COMMANDER VISITS NEW ZEALAND

Admiral Dennis Blair, Commander-in-Chief, United States Pacific Command (CINCPAC), will make an official visit to New Zealand as a full guest of Government during the period November 17-21, 2000.

Admiral Blair, accompanied by his wife, Mrs Diane Blair, and a small party of officials and support staff, arrive tonight, November 17, but have no official engagements over the weekend.

On Monday, November 20, he will call on Government and Defence officials in Wellington.

Admiral Blair returns to Hawaii on Tuesday, November 21.
