Ten International Solidarity Movement activists, one representative of the PMRC and Palestinians are in the process of investigating a building occupation in the Duwar area of Nablus. They have confirmed that soldiers are on the fifth floor of the Anabta Building and have changed the locks. Confrontations are taking place and seven Palestinians have been injured. One youth has been hit in the head and is incritical but stable condition.

At 8:30am ISM received a call that a family had been kicked out of their home last night and they wanted internationals to enter the house that had a new lock installed by the Israeli soldiers. The lock was removed and it was confirmed that Israeli soldiers had locked themselves in the house when they threw a concussion grenade at the internationals. The Israeli soldiers, after being exposed, left the house. They remain in several other homes.

At 10:00am at least ten military jeeps entered the old city and surrounding area and positioned themselves near a girls school that is holding a summer camp. Approximately 100 girls are trapped in the school unable to leave due to the confrontations outside and the Israeli military presence.

Thirty to thirty-five military vehicles have arrived as reinforcements. One young man has been hit in the head, presumably by a rubber bullet. He is of the Zahra family and his family has already suffered at the hands of the occupying forces. (His father and older brother were killed by the Israeli military) The young man was hit when the Israeli Army fired randomly into a crowd of youth throwing stones. Six Palestinians have also been injured, three in the old city and three more near the Watani Hospital on the main road.
