Annan to Undergo Operation to Repair Shoulder Skiing Injury

New York, Jul 13 2005 11:00AM

United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan will undergo an operation to repair a right shoulder injury on Friday, his spokesman has announced.

The injury occurred during a sporting accident this past winter while Mr. Annan was cross-country skiing, spokesman Stephane Dujarric said.
