The Guam Education
Superintedent, Juan Flores, has been fired by the
board.
The termination comes after Mr Flores implemented a
ban on all bags and water bottles in public schools because
of ongoing bomb threats and a chemical explosion two weeks
ago.
The Pacific Daily News reports that during a meeting
last night, Mr Flores and the board chairman, Johnny Rivera,
had an argument about the ban which led to Mr Flores
storming out.
Mr Rivera says his legal team has advised
him not to comment on the
matter.
