Indonesia Tortures Moluccans As World Does Nothing

Indonesia Still Tortures Moluccans And The Whole World Is Still Watching And Do Nothing About It

We, the Moluccan community, firmly object this celebration, while Moluccans in the Moluccas (Maluku) are still suffering because of the cruel Indonesian regime.

On June 29th 2007 Indonesia has arrested 31 peaceful Moluccan political activists in Ambon, because they have only shown the Moluccan flag to the Indonesian president.

The 31 Moluccans were put in jail by Indonesia for twenty years where they also got molested and violated. These brutal violations of Moluccan human rights is still going on right now! Therefore there is nothing to celebrate.

The Moluccans in The Netherlandsalso object the fact that the whole world haven’t done anything since June 29th 2007about these gross violations of Moluccan human rights by Indonesia.
So Moluccan E-mail Action Group PAK have started an online-petition on July 28th 2007 to firmly request all international parliaments, all human rights organisations and others to pay attention to this serious matter.

That is why you have received this e-mail message with the link to our online-petition. Please read our online-petition with 770 signaturesat www.petitiemaluku.tkor read below and please take some action against this Moluccan human rights violations by Indonesia.

After July 28th 2007 many arrests had followed, so the number of Moluccan political prisoners has increased from 31 to 49 so far.

If Indonesia has claimed to have become a democracy, then Indonesia has to start acting like a democracy and stop it’s violations of Moluccan human rights.

If the whole world is still ignoring these violiations of Moluccan human rights, then Indonesia can do anything and can get away with it easily.

Indonesia has got to STOP from now on!
