Philippines Offers A New Life For Christchurch Earthquake Vi

Philippines Offers A New Life For Christchurch Earthquake Victims

The recent Christchurch earthquake has shattered the lives on many living in the city. Some may even consider relocating and starting a new life elsewhere. This is easier achieved than many may realize.

Mr. Buddy Javier, the developer of this new residential European-style project in the Philippines is offering immediate accommodation for a month to help those in Christchurch who have lost their homes to help them create a new future life in a planned western-style residential housing.

The developer, a former senior government manager involved in tourism and transport and practicing Filipino attorney had previously visited Christchurch and had fallen in love with the city. When he heard of the tragic news of the earthquake, his thoughts immediately turned to how he could assist the people affected by this tragedy. He immediately agreed to offer temporary beachside quality housing for people wishing to relocate to the Philippines until their new purposefully designed homes are completed in 2-3 months.

The Philippines may not have been considered as a future home to New Zealanders, yet it has much to offer. Not known to many, is that the Philippines welcomes new migrants coming to the country as investors or retirees. If you are over the age of 35 you may qualify for a Retirement Visa, giving you all the benefits of a permanent resident.

The country has a great climate escape for those wishing to escape the cold winters of Christchurch to a land where it is summer all year. As the residential project is located on a peninsula surrounded by sea, the climate is neither to hot or cold throughout the year.

The low cost of living means that a migrant to the Philippines may have a high quality life at half the cost of living in New Zealand. Food, labour and costs are all much cheaper than New Zealand. A new home fully furnished is less than $200,000. One of the great benefits of living in the Philippines is the ready supply of cheap skilled labour, ranging from gardening staff, home domestic helps to registered nurses.

The new development is located on the beautiful Catanauan Coast, and has is located on one of the most beautiful beach in the world with golden white sand. The development is expected to become one of the leading retirement and holiday communities in the world. The residential development has been planned to create a quality self-contained landscaped community providing all the modern conveniences and infrastructure New Zealanders have come to expect. In addition to having restaurants, sporting facilities, ambulance, swimming pool, shops, a medical clinic, hotel, etc the development will have its own marina to cater for boat enthusiastic.

The Catanauan Coast is in Southern Luzon, facing the protected western coast which avoids the risk of damage from typhoons. The sea in the area is normally very calm, with excellent fishing, making it a mecca for boaties, with many nearby islands and bays to visit. Crystal clear waters, powder white sand, all reachable by land.

As a new development, there are a number of business opportunities for the astute investor ranging from service industries, retail, to tourist operations. The developer requires owners to maintain high standards in keeping with the project, and all businesses will be required to be approved by the project’s management committee. The whole project has been designed and developed to be integrated into the beautiful tropical environment to retain an ecology balance to create harmonious living conditions.

While crime is a problem in certain regions in the Philippines, it is seldom a problem in the area the development is located. As a safe guard the project has its own security to ensure against the entry of undesirables.

The development will have access to fast internet and infrastructure for residents as they have in New Zealand. Each residential plot will have sufficient grounds for gardeners to develop as they wish. The whole project has extensive landscaped grounds to create a relaxing attractive living environment.

The Philippines is one of the fastest growing economies in Asia, is situated in the centre of Asia where East meets West, and where English is widely spoken. It is forecast to become one of the tiger economies of Asia providing many opportunities for investors.

The project is being marketed in New Zealand by Immigration Placement Services Ltd, a New Zealand company based in the Philippines that specialises in relocating migrants to different parts of the world, and its Philippines business BNAC Corp. The latter company is accredited by the Philippines Government to promote the Philippines as a retirement destination and to arrange visas for those wishing to reside in the Philippines. As a Kiwi living in the Philippines for the last 3 years we can recommend the benefits of living in the country. Special tour packages are available for visitors to the Philippines to view the project.
