Second Round Of Auction With Top Athletes’ Unique Items To Help Ukraine: Tyson’s Gloves, Zinchenko’s Shirt And More

Sports Stars Lewandowski, Zinchenko, Lunin and Horuna joined charity project ‘World Sports for Ukraine’

Captain of the Poland National Team, forward for ‘Bayern Munich’ Robert Lewandowski, the midfielder for Premier League club ‘Manchester City’ and the Ukraine national team Oleksandr Zinchenko, the goalkeeper for ‘Real Madrid’ and the Ukrainian national team Andriy Lunin, karate athlete, bronze winner of Olympic Games in Tokyo Stanislav Horuna, captain of the Ukraine National Team and winger for ‘West Ham United’ Andrii Yarmolenko joined the series of charity auctions ‘World Sports for Ukraine’. Athletes have put up their medals and other sport lots for auction to create awareness for humanitarian disaster we are all witnessing in the center of Europe and to provide financial aid to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, National Guard of Ukraine, Territorial Defene and refugees, who had to leave their homes after Russia invaded Ukraine.

First participant of this charity marathon was the captain of the Poland National Team, forward for ‘Bayern Munich’ Robert Lewandowski. He handed over his jersey with the ‘Stop War’ message on it, and the lot was sold for $2900. The bronze medal from the Olympic Games-2020 in Tokyo won by Stanislav Horuna was bought for $20500. “My olympic medal is the most valuable one among that 200 medals I have won for the 19-year-period of my career. It symbolizes every victory on my way to the Olympic Games. And I want to sell it at the auction to support my people at this difficult time. Nothing is more important than Ukraine now’’, - said Horuna.

Today Tribuna.com put Mike Tyson’s boxing gloves up for auction. Tyson is the man who is still associated with world boxing - during his career he became the youngest absolute world heavyweight champion and was recognized as the strongest knockout puncher in history.

Kevin De Bruyne, Ruben Diaz, Bernardo Silva, Ilkay Gundogan and many other Manchester City stars have signed Oleksandr Zinchenko's shirt that is now up for auction. "I have a little daughter. My heart breaks at the thought of how many children of her age are dying now and how many more will fall victim to this war. Don’t be silent until the children stop dying every day. Please help us with your voices and support," Zinchenko said. You can place a bid here.

Another valuable auction item is a jersey from Real Madrid’s goalkeeper Andriy Lunin. The U20 world champion in 2019 really wants to support Ukraine’s defenders. "Thanks to the Armed Forces, many people are safe, including me. That's why we try to help our defenders. We hope to win and return to normal life, and until then we will help our heroes with everything possible - protective ammunition, medicine, food and finances, " Andriy said.

Another item for true football fans is the original shirt of the Ukraine team from Euro 2020 with signatures from the national team players such as Mykola Matvienko, Viktor Tsygankov, Andriy Pyatov, Taras Stepanenko, Heorhiy Bushchan, Artem Dovbyk and others.

A number of charity auctions was organized by the sport media Tribuna.com together with the volunteer organization Ukraine Alive 2022 and Belarusian Sport Solidarity Foundation, which fights for Belarus freedom and supports Ukraine.
