Short Forecast from Weather Workshop valid to midnight tomorrow:

Northland and Auckland: Cloudy with showers clearing from most places tomorrow.

Taihape, Gisborne and Hawkes Bay: Showers developing overnight and continuing thru Friday.

Wellington and Wairarapa, also for the Kaikoura Coast: Cloud and light showers continuing.

Remaining North Island areas: Mainly fine and frosty, lingering showers clearing overnight in the west from Waikato to Manawatu.

For Nelson, inland areas of Marlborough, also for the South Island west coast and Southland: Mostly fine and frosty.

Canterbury and Otago: Fine and frosty inland, cloudy about the coast with drizzle patches.

Chatham Islands: Showery.
