also for the central plateau: Becoming fine in the west from
Waikato south today, elsewhere cloudy periods. Tomorrow fine just
about everywhere.

Bay of Plenty: Showers clearing from the eastern ranges today
elsewhere fine breaks. Tomorrow fine.

Gisborne to Wairarapa: Rain easing to showers early tomorrow
north of Mahia, elsewhere cloudy periods.

Wellington: Cloudy at times.

Nelson and the South Island west coast: Mainly fine.

Marlborough and Canterbury: Remaining coastal cloud clearing
otherwise fine.

Otago and Southland: Coastal cloud persisting. Fine inland.

Chatham Islands: Rain easing to showers early tomorrow.
