Police are at the scene of a serious crash involving a car and a motorbike in Hamilton tonight.

Emergency services were called to the crash, at the intersection of London and Anglesea streets, about 7.25pm.

The rider of the motorbike is being taken to hospital with serious injuries. The road is closed, and will remain closed for some time.
