Fatal Crash Marsters Road, Waiuku
Three people have died after a single-vehicle crash on Masters Road, Waiuku this afternoon.
Emergency services were called at around 3.30pm after a vehicle left the road and ended up in a body of water nearby.
Sadly, all three occupants of the vehicle have died at the scene.
We acknowledge that this is tragic news for the tight-knit community in Waiuku.
Next of kin have now been contacted and Police will be ensuring support is put in place for them.
The Serious Crash Unit is in attendance and will carry out an investigation to determine how this crash occurred.
Masters Road, between Waiuku and Kidd Roads, will remain closed for a significant period of time.
