The Hollow Men: Nicky Hager Responds to Don Brash - Yesterday Don Brash circulated a long rebuttal of my book The Hollow Men. In the interests of accuracy I should respond to his substantial points. Out of a 350 page book, with nearly 1000 detailed references, Don Brash has found two minor inaccuracies. I am happy to take his word about both of them. But neither detracts from the book. See... The Hollow Men: Brash Responds To Hager's Book - Hager contends that his book - a scurrilous attack on both the National Party as an institution and me as its Leader - was written with the help of emails provided to him by six "people in the National Party (who) were profoundly unhappy" with how some of the Party's electoral success in 2005 had been obtained. This edition of "Don Brash writes" is my response to Mr Hager's book. See... Don Brash Writes: Nicky Hager's book

Scoop Satire: Nicky Hager - Guilty of Journalism? - Dear Sir: Nicky Hager, if that's his real name, is proposing to publish some sort of book... It took me some time to understand it, but it seems the information in question was not released by an official press spokesman in any way. Yet Mr Hager, who wants to publish it, still claims to be a 'journalist'. Well, I don't see many other 'journalists' behaving like that. See... Lyndon Hood: Nicky Hager - Guilty of Journalism?

Following the revelation's that respected
researcher/investigative journalist Nicky Hager had written
a currently legally suppressed book detailing the ins and
outs of National under the leadership of Dr Don Brash –
the National Leader kindly agreed to take a few questions
from the media. Question: Do you know in 2005
when you first met the Brethren? When they first became
interested in helping the National Party in the campaign, so
look at when the election was and try to remember when your
first meeting was, or a phone call, or an email. Do you
remember? Dr Brash: No I don't. I don't think I
have ever had an email from the Exclusive Brethren.
