What you’ll find in BATS this week is practically an opening night, every night.

Self Portrait opens tomorrow night at 8pm. (note some guanos have a typo with an incorrect starting time of 9.30).

Opening on Wednesday night, The Binge Culture brings you Drowning Bird, Plummeting Fish.

Poly-Zygotic opens on Friday the 13th, but don’t let the date freak you out, this promises to be laugh a riot.

And opening on Saturday 14 February (Valentines Day) is Words Apart.

We are still selling fringe Addict cards, which means you can see BATS shows during Fringe for only $10 and also get specials at The Pit Bar and other outlet around town.

Rita Angus is one of New Zealand’s most cherished artists, her self-portraits an inspiration to these solo works. With Self Portrait, each choreographer chose to be influenced by Rita’s works in different ways - come along and discover a new side to Rita’s works for yourself as they explode on to the stage for the first time.
