SING ALONG – GET YOUR HEAD IN THE GAME
WE’RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!

The Improvisors take on Disney with their own loving tribute to the phenomenon that is High School Musical as they create a full-length comedy musical that mixes teen angst, saccharine sweetness, and their own trademark version of improvised comedy irreverence.

After sold out seasons of previous musicals IMPROV – The Rock Opera and IMPROV – The Musical, this is the The Improvisors rocking musical debut in the Fringe Festival.

We decided that High School Musical had gone on too long without someone poking a little fun at it. And that kiwi audiences deserved a kiwi version but without sacrificing all that gooey, G rated, R & B-lite goodness that goes hand in hand with High School Musical,” says Greg Ellis, Improvisor.

Taking audience suggestions to generate each original, never to be seen again, performance, a quintessencially kiwi ‘Secondary School’ musical extravaganza is created by a cast of over 10 seasoned Improvisors, accompanied by a swinging live band.

So whether you are a fan of High School Musical, have been tortured by numerous repeat viewings or really don’t care - you’ll love our unique version!

IMPROV – The Secondary School Musical is all class.
