Scoop Images: Flowers For Children |

Around two dozen protestors held a vigil today in blustery and bleak conditions outside the US Embassy in Fitzherbert Tce, Wellington. The US Ambassador Carol Moseley-Braun was presented with two letters one from Catholic Worker’s Moana Cole and one from a representative of the Quakers. Two boxes labled, food and medicine, a child’s coffin and flowers were also left in remembrance of the more than 1.7 million who have died as a result of Economic Sanctions against Iraq.
