Flight
of the Conchords' bespectacled star Jemaine Clement has
married his long-time girlfriend, Miranda Manasiadis,
whilst on a break from writing the second season of the hit
show.
They were married in a Los Angeles registry office in front of a close group of friends, including his co-star Bret McKenzie. The Kiwi comedy pair are currently based in New York preparing for filming new episodes of the Emmy-nominated HBO series.
As well as being a very funny chap Jemaine is also partial to a good cause and was last year snapped by Scoop with Miranda supporting the cause of Burmese democracy in Wellington's Civic Square.

Manasiadis is a thespian, having had major roles in plays at Wellington's Circa and Bats theatres as well as writing and directing her own production, 'The Singularity' for Afterburner, which was staged at Peter Jackson's Stone Street Studios this year. She also had a small part in Eagle vs Shark, the 2007 kiwi feature that Clement starred in as a nerdy goofball looking for love. In that film Mr Clement found love in the arms of another woman. Thankfully for his recent, presumably happy wedding, the film was only make believe.
