New Minister of Health
Minister Cunliffe is deeply honoured by his appointment as Minister of Health. He has stated that his first priority will be to listen to the various stakeholders and to take stock of the current issues within the health sector.
“I look forward to working with the team of Associate Health Ministers, officials within the Ministry, and the wider range of stakeholders and consumer groups.
“I am determined to continue and develop the Labour-led government’s leadership in providing accessible and secure health services to New Zealand.”
Mr Cunliffe is also pleased to retain his ministerial responsibilities in ICT and looks forward to continuing his work within that portfolio.
