Accident in Afghanistan –
1st NZDF Statement
The New Zealand Defence Force can confirm that soldiers patrolling in north east Bamyan province have been involved in a vehicle accident.
The Defence Force can confirm that one soldier is dead and three others were injured in the accident. Next of kin of those involved in the accident have been informed and the Defence Force is currently consolidating information from the area.
