An additional 300 members of the Naval Reserve are being called to active duty as part of the partial mobilization authorized by President Bush. This brings the total Naval Reserve called to active duty to 4,650 to date.

The majority of these Naval reservists have been recalled individually based on specific skills, primarily law enforcement and security. Other skills as part of the mobilization include medical, supply, intelligence and other specialties.

The Marine Corps has also called 40 more individual mobilization augmentees to active duty, bringing their total to 373 reservists called to date.

The Air Force has reviewed the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) and Air National Guard (ANG) units and individuals called to active duty to date and provides the attached cumulative roster of call-ups to date. The total AFRC called to active duty is 6,925 and the total ANG called to active duty is 5,818 for a total of 12,743 to date.

At any given time, services may mobilize some units and individuals while demobilizing others, making it is possible for these figures to either increase or decrease.
