Swimming Pool Fences
Swimming Pool Fences
Press Release from POAG (Pool Owners Action Group)
Spokesperson Gary Osborne
The silly season is beginning again and Waitakere City Council Bureaucrats in their relentless pursuit of middle of the road law abiding citizens, are endeavouring to turn some of those people into lawbreakers, without Council officers actually knowing the law.
The POAG is taking a class action against Waitakere City Council and is awaiting the outcome of a declaratory judgement set down for 2nd August in the High Court.
We were astounded to learn last week that one of our members has received a notice saying he has been prosecuted and found guilty as he failed to turn up for a Court Hearing.
If you are having problems with swimming pool fencing and believe in your case, Council (not just Waitakere City Council), is behaving unreasonably please contact
