Want something to do next week-end? How about checking out the 'Blazin' hip hop and RnB dance party on Friday 10 September 2004.

The Otara Music Arts Centre will be rocking to the style of New Zealand's ITF champion for the last two years, DJ Mancho and the latest hip hop sounds. He has DJ'd for K'Lee, Dawn Raid, Mareko and King Kapisi. DJ Mancho has featured on DJ Sivere's 'Major Flavours 2' and the new 'Major Flavours 4'.

Featuring on the night will be NO ARTIFICIAL FLAVOURS with his No 1 hit 'Sweet as bro'. He has also performed with Scribe, Blindspott, DJ CxL, DJ Manchoo and many more top New Zealand artists.

Manukau City Council's arts programmer, Ruth Thompson, says "The aim is to provide youth with an opportunity to have an organised dance on a Friday night in a safe, purpose built venue. The last BLAZIN dance party took place in June and 250 dancers jived to the sounds of DJ Mancho.

"With just $5 entry for 13-18 year olds its an affordable way to spend a Friday night. Head on down to OMAC for loud non-stop music. The fun starts at 7pm, winding up at 10pm.

"This event is being supported by the EDGE 94.2FM. Leading up to the dance party ten complimentary passes will be on offer and the EDGE will be broadcasting on-site prior to the start. Phone OMAC on 274 6400 for details."
