Upcoming CBD cordon changes
Media Release – Wednesday 13 June 2012
Upcoming CBD cordon changes
Work to reduce the cordon is progressing with two changes scheduled for this Friday at 5pm.
The block of Durham Street North in front of the Crowne Plaza site will open, meaning the one-way system will be fully functional.
Gloucester Street will also open, splitting the Red Zone in two. The street will initially operate one-way from east to west, but will be subject to change as the rebuild work programme requires.
