Temporary closure of Gloucester Street
A section of Gloucester Street will close to traffic for up to four weeks from Monday while buildings on both sides are demolished.
The main demolition work on both the Farmers building and the Crystal Plaza building will start on Monday meaning the section of Gloucester Street between Oxford Terrace and the Isaac Theatre Royal site will close.
The temporary changes will take effect from 10am Monday.
The tower segment of the Farmers building will be demolished using the cut and crane method, before the high reach excavator Twinkletoes is brought in demolish the rest.
