Closure of Te Atatu Off Ramp SH16 Eastbound Tonight
The NZ Transport Agency advises drivers that the Te Atatu off ramp, Eastbound from State Highway 16, will be closed tonight (Monday, 29 April) for urgent repairs to a damaged barrier.
The work will be carried between the hours of 9pm and 2am in order to carry out repairs to the barrier which was struck by a vehicle over the weekend.
The NZTA says drivers should use the off ramp with care until permanent repairs are completed.
A detour will be in place during the work and drivers are asked to follow the signposted routes.
The NZTA apologises for any inconvenience, and reminds motorists to check www.highwayinfo.govt.nz or phone 08004HIGHWAYS for the latest traffic information.
