Closure of Takanini On Ramp
SH1 Northbound Tonight
The NZ Transport Agency advises
drivers that the Takanini on ramp, Northbound from State
Highway 1, will be closed tonight (Wednesday, 1
May) for urgent bridge work.
Lane closures on the Motorway will also be in place, with work starting at 10pm and should take about an hour to complete.
The NZTA says permanent repairs will begin on Sunday night.
A detour will be in place during the work and drivers are asked to follow the signposted routes.
