Funds On Offer For Planting
Got a restoration planting project in mind for winter 2014? You may qualify for funding assistance from the Taranaki Tree Trust – and now is the time to apply. The Trust is calling for applications between 1 August and 1 September for its second and final funding round for 2013. It makes grants to support Taranaki projects which protect and restore wetlands, bush remnants, the coast and wildlife habitat. It is also keen to support projects which enhance community areas such as marae, schools and reserves.
