Communities and Residents are excited to announce the team for the Albert-Eden-Roskill Ward 2013 Local Body Elections.

“I am delighted to have a selection of some very talented and community minded locals to represent our issues,” says Christine Fletcher, the Ward leader. “We are proud of our team and we look forward to a fun campaign ahead.”

“The candidates are a cross section of our community and bring a diversity of professional and community backgrounds,” Fletcher continues. “It is crucial that your views are represented in order to have positive discussions on all issues. This helps all of us to deliver practical and long-term solutions to the issues we face.”

Ward Representatives (known also as Governing Body Members or Councillors) are Christine Fletcher, current representative and former Mayor of Auckland City; and Nigel Turnbull, Police Youth Development Trust and current Local Board Member.

The Local Board candidates are for Puketapapa are: Richard Barter, Michelle Hala, Ella Kumar, Peter Muys, Matt van Tuinen and Nigel Turnbull, and for Albert-Eden: Bevan Chuang, Lee Corrick, Rachel Langton, Monique Poirier, Rodger Jack and Tim Woolfield.
