Rate Assessment Copies Available from Regional Council
Hawke’s Bay Regional Council ratepayers receiving water-damaged rates assessments in the post this week can contact HBRC for a fresh copy if they need one.
Approximately 4000 envelopes containing Regional Council rates assessments and newsletters were damaged in a rainstorm at the mailing centre in Christchurch last week.
NZ Post was able to dry the envelopes out before delivery, but HBRC is aware that some printout assessments may now be illegible.
Ratepayers can check their assessments and ask for a new copy if needed. A few ratepayers have already been in contact with the Regional Council.
The rest of the 70,000 envelope mailout was unaffected.
